Position Overview:

The Quality Assurance Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the daily functions of the Quality Assurance operations. This includes monitoring, analyzing, and addressing critical incidents and quality-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the monitoring and analysis of all reported quality concerns and generates trend reports.
  • Investigates clinical quality matters and completes all necessary documentation and reports.
  • Organizes provider collaboration meetings, conducts on-site provider assessments, oversees Quality Improvement Plan submissions, and drafts required correspondence to providers.
  • Aids in the classification of all Significant Incident Reports and assesses the level of follow-up required.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in behavioral health, healthcare, or social sciences.
  • License/Certification: Not applicable.
  • Relevant Work Experience: At least 3 years of post-graduate experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a healthcare or quality assurance environment.
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with PA Act 68, Appendix H, and medical necessity standards.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Training and facilitation capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of DBH and DHS systems and services.
