Job Description

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director to lead our SABR Operating Unit. This is a critical role that requires a strong leader with a proven track record of success in program management, strategic planning, and business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve program cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives.
  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.
  • Identify and manage program resources, including workforce planning.
  • Create a positive employee experience by focusing on retention initiatives and supporting professional development.
  • Deliver presentations to customers, executive management, and other program stakeholders.
  • Cultivate customer relationships and intimacy to develop further opportunities within the customer community.
  • Develop business area strategies and new business opportunities that drive consistent growth for the operating area.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of program management or related experience, or Master's degree with 10+ years of experience.
  • Expertise in program execution to lead the performance of tasks on schedule and at cost.
  • Proven success in leading and influencing individuals and teams in a matrix environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster existing customer relationships and develop new customer relationships.
  • Strong communication and executive presence skills to effectively interact with customers and senior leadership.
  • Must be a US citizen with DoD Active Secret Clearance or DoE equivalent and ability to obtain special access clearances required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in engineering and/or business administration.
  • 8+ years in leading high-volume production programs, development programs, or technical teams.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of strategic planning and new business development.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of radar systems.
Benefits

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $194,800 - $292,200, as well as a discretionary bonus and Long Term Incentives. Employees may also be eligible for a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
