Job Title: Mental Health Program Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Program Director to join our team at Change Health Systems I. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our behavioral health clinic, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of clinical staff, including therapists, and ensure they are adequately trained and supervised.
  • Develop and implement the budget for the program, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with the medical director to ensure staff compliance with credentialing and privileging.
  • Identify staff training needs and develop training programs to maintain program standards.
  • Supervise clinicians, assign caseloads, and meet with them on a weekly basis to discuss patient care and progress.
  • Oversee the scheduling of patients to see program psychiatrists and provide general supervision.
  • Develop, implement, and supervise a vocational program that assesses and meets the needs of patients.
  • Provide patient coverage in the absence of a clinician and facilitate in-service training for staff.
  • Available for crisis consultation and management, as well as coordination with outside practitioners.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited school.
  • Licensure for independent practice by a Maryland professional board.
  • Clinical supervisory experience or ability to provide clinical supervision.
  • Licensed as LCSW-C in the state of MD and approved to provide clinical supervision.
