Role Summary
The Marketing Events Coordinator will report directly to the Marketing Events Manager. This position is designed for a proactive, energetic, and sociable individual who is eager to enhance our marketing initiatives and contribute significantly to the company's growth objectives. A natural curiosity is essential, as the marketing landscape is ever-evolving. A positive, team-oriented mindset and a good sense of humor are crucial for success and satisfaction in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with sales representatives and directors to identify and assess marketing opportunities that enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and drive revenue. This role involves managing our engagement with industry associations and ensuring effective event participation to maximize our presence.
Event Marketing: Plan, coordinate logistics, promote, and occasionally participate in both in-person and virtual events alongside sales representatives. You will manage the entire process, including budget oversight and maintaining trade show materials, as well as post-event analysis.
CRM Campaign Management: Ensure that all leads generated from events are accurately tracked and handed off to the appropriate teams for timely follow-up. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient lead management.
Internal Event Planning: Assist in organizing internal events, such as annual meetings and incentive trips.
Email and Social Media Marketing: Play a pivotal role in our digital marketing strategy by facilitating communication and collaboration within the team. Responsibilities include managing pre/post-event communications and ensuring effective messaging for digital campaigns.
Vendor Relationship Management: Support the management of key vendor relationships within the marketing department.
Additional Responsibilities: Engage in special campaign initiatives and other duties as required, reflecting our agile team environment in a fast-growing company.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a comprehensive marketing role.
- Experience in event planning and trade shows.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Data-driven mindset with a focus on tracking performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
