POSITION SUMMARY


The Regional Marketing Coordinator supports the Regional Marketing Manager and serves as a key liaison among zones, regions, and corporate headquarters concerning regional marketing initiatives.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the planning and execution of all regional sponsorships and specialized marketing events. Collaborate closely with the Zone Operations Specialist for the management and organization of zone-specific events. Facilitate communication and information exchange between site coordinators and vendors. Independently manage the activities and responsibilities of employee volunteers and participating retailers, while determining necessary staffing levels. Implement relevant and effective marketing strategies in advance of events. Develop contingency plans for events and respond swiftly to unforeseen incidents. Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations to provide insights and recommendations for future initiatives.

Successful event management requires a dedicated, hardworking individual with substantial customer service experience, problem-solving abilities, and a keen attention to detail.

Analyze marketing reports and processes, offering input and suggestions for enhancements in future marketing strategies.

Lead regional digital initiatives. Collaborate with Corporate Communications to update Subaru's social media platforms, showcasing regional events and news.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES


Serve as the regional point of contact for the Love Promise by organizing and coordinating Love Promise events for regional and zone employees, ensuring integration into consumer events when applicable.

Execute events and marketing initiatives for Subaru Loves the Earth, Loves to Care, Loves Learning, Loves to Help, and Loves Pets by tracking retailer participation, ordering support materials, and ensuring that Love Promise stories are submitted at the regional, zone, and retailer levels.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Experience in sales and marketing.

Strong experience in budget management.

Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.

Proven ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently.

Experience in process planning and management.

Extensive background in event planning.

Intermediate IT proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Subaru database, and the Internet.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.


Ability to communicate with various levels of management within the region, zone, and corporate structure, as well as with retailers, vendors, and Subaru customers.

Strong adaptability to change; creative, flexible, and innovative in approach.

Proactive problem solver, demonstrating good judgment, commitment to self-improvement, and effective use of feedback.

Energetic with a positive presence, cooperative and reliable, dedicated to the role, and capable of motivating and inspiring others.


Possession of a valid driver's license and ability to maintain a driving record that meets the requirements of company policies.

Must be approved as an "Authorized Driver" by Risk Management to operate vehicles prior to vehicle operation.

Willingness to travel frequently and overnight, as well as work on weekends when necessary (such as during events).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
4-Year College Degree (BA, BS) and 4-6 years of relevant experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Required Travel:
Up to 65% travel

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Office environment; ability to work at various locations, including retailers and event sites.

Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

COMPENSATION:
The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
