About the Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Dartmouth Health. As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practitioner: Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
  • Leader/Decision Maker: Manage interpersonal relationships for self and with others, mentor colleagues for the advancement of nursing practice and the profession, and prioritize and organize time to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Scientist: Actively seek out the most current evidence and standards and apply and translate to daily practice, role model a culture of inquiry, and develop new knowledge by contributing to research, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice at the local level.
  • Transferor: Communicate effectively in a variety of formats in all areas of practice, actively partner with others to effect change that produces positive outcomes through the exchange of knowledge, and precept the student nurse, nurse extern, nurse resident, experienced clinical nurse and other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) with 1 year of experience.
  • Associate Degree (ADN) prepared nurses with 2 years' experience.
  • Required Licensure/Certifications: Licensed Registered Nurse with NH eligibility, Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required upon hire and as applicable, higher level per unit certification requirements as stated on the grid attached to the AHA and Life Support Policy.
