Client Support Specialist

Join The Midtown Group, a reputable staffing firm, as we seek dedicated Client Support Specialists to enhance our customer service team.
Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- 80% - Program Assistance
- Engage in a mission-oriented culture focused on high-quality service, emphasizing customer satisfaction, consistency, respect, and accountability.
- Uphold departmental productivity and quality benchmarks.
- Ensure all member and provider inquiries are addressed thoroughly during the initial interaction.
- Act as a resource for fellow team members.
- 15% - Administrative Duties
- Support the team in fulfilling departmental responsibilities and collaborate to achieve both short-term and long-term objectives.
- Respond to inquiries regarding eligibility, enrollment, claims, benefit interpretation, and referrals for medical care, both in-person and via phone.
- Accurately document all interactions and inquiries in internal systems.
- Foster and maintain effective relationships through prompt and precise service delivery.
- Identify and communicate potential challenges while adhering to departmental guidelines.
- 5% - Additional Projects
- Complete other assigned tasks and projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a call center environment.
- Typing proficiency of at least 35 words per minute (WPM).
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 months of experience in Medi-Cal/Medicaid or health services.

Knowledge & Skills:
- Ability to build rapport and maintain effective working relationships with diverse individuals.
- Capable of working independently and exercising sound judgment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant job-specific applications.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to read information from screens and printed materials.
- Clear verbal communication skills.
- Adequate hearing for effective communication.
- Manual dexterity for typing and writing tasks.
- Capability to lift and move objects weighing between 10 to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
- Typically indoors in a sedentary role, subject to schedule changes.
- Moderate noise levels in the work environment.
