Job Summary

The Ministry Archive Group (MAG) Quality Control and Research Associate is responsible for supporting the work of the Ministry Archive Group department by viewing and researching the archive of videotapes/digital files to compare printed transcripts, and to adjust or create a transcript of the videotape. The associate will also research and add metadata tagging for the ministry's still photography assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • View videotapes and/or digital files of the BGEA video archive, comparing video to previously created Word or PDF transcripts and broadcast run-sheets.
  • Correct or create a Word document transcript associated with videotapes/digital files.
  • Scan and/or convert current hardcopy transcripts from PDF to Word documents.
  • Contribute to a searchable keyword database from transcripts and photographs.
  • Create and/or add metadata to existing BGEA still photography archive.
Requirements
  • Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
  • Faithfully upholds BGEA in prayer
  • Participates in daily BGEA staff devotions including Bible reading, and leading group prayer as schedule permits
  • Demonstrates behavior aligned with BGEA's Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Hallmarks, policies, and expectations
  • Effectively represents Jesus Christ to those within both personal and professional spheres of influence
Working Conditions

The associate will work in a standard office environment with artificially controlled heating and cooling and moderate noise levels. The associate will occasionally lift loads of up to 15 pounds and work under time constraints and some pressure and stress.
