Job Title: Quality Control System Specialist

About the Role

This is a position with grade 14. The role reports to Operations Manager. Your responsibilities will include executing service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB quality and safety guidelines. You will deliver quality customer service planning and execute service work as per customer order and expectation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working with the customer to identify opportunities to improve the customer's operations and eliminate pain points.
  • Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products for which you are certified to perform.
  • Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.
  • Acting as trainer when needed, for field service associates and customers.
Requirements

Associate's degree in a related field and 2+ years of electrical/electronics, instrumentation or process control related work/military experience required. Or HS diploma/GED and 4+ years of related work/military experience required.

Ability to use electrical test equipment such as voltmeters or multi-meters. Mechanical/Electrical aptitude including a basic understanding of electrical theory and electrical safety. Ability to read electrical drawings and utilize for troubleshooting electrical systems.
