Job Summary:

The Quality Control Manager will oversee the quality of construction projects, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and special provisions. This role involves managing inspectors, monitoring contractor activities, and maintaining detailed records of quality operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor contractor activities and inspect materials produced
  • Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and special provisions
  • Maintain detailed records of quality operations and events
  • Perform sampling and testing of component materials and completed work
  • Prepare written reports and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • One to two years of college or equivalent industry-related experience
  • Ability to understand work directions and communicate effectively
  • Physical demands include standing, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 60 pounds

Work Environment:

The Quality Control Manager will work outdoors in all weather conditions, exposed to high levels of noise, grease, and dust. Regularly works near heavy equipment and moving machinery.
