About the PositionThis is an exciting opportunity to work in our Crisis Stabilization Unit, providing psychiatric assessment and treatment to clients in crisis. As a Crisis Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing the mental status of clients, determining whether they meet criteria for involuntary observation and treatment, and developing and implementing treatment plans. You will work closely with a small team to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for clients.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a closely related field
- Equivalent to one year of clinical behavioral health experience under qualified supervision in a behavioral health setting
- Registration with the State of California, Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Clinical Social Worker, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor
- Ability to work well with a small team and provide a welcoming environment for clients
