Harrison Consulting Solutions is a multi-discipline engineering firm with decades of experience in delivering high-quality engineering services. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Discipline Engineer to join our team in our Windsor office.

Job Responsibilities

As an Electrical Discipline Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, stand-by power generation, communication, fire alarm, and security systems.
  • Managing a team of Electrical Engineers in project design and development tasks such as drawings, calculations, cost estimates, and specifications.
  • Responding to client inquiries and providing clarifications on project-related matters.
  • Reviewing contractor submittals and providing feedback to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Reviewing electrical department design documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensuring department personnel adhere to industry standards and company policies.
  • Assisting in the development of company quality standards and procedures.
  • Collaborating with management and electrical department leadership to develop and implement electrical short- and long-range manpower and production plans to meet project objectives.
  • Participating in business development initiatives to pursue new projects, including client presentations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
  • 10+ years of experience in a consulting engineering firm designing building power, communication systems, lighting, and security systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of the architectural and engineering industry, including federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • P.E. license and LEED Accreditation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, EasyPower, and Revit is desired.
  • Supervisory experience and knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems are a plus.
