Job Summary

The National Fire Protection Association is seeking a skilled Grants and Contracts Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support in the pursuit, negotiation, and management of grants and contracts. This includes supervision of financial documentation, financial performance, and compliance oversight regarding Federal government regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the financial aspects of funded projects, ensuring compliance with Federal regulations and other requirements.

Assist in the development of proposal technical narratives, budgets, and budget narratives for submission to funding agencies.

Coordinate and support technical and financial reporting requirements for funded projects.

Facilitate opportunity pursuit teams and identify new funding opportunities, including the development of opportunity briefing documents.

Ensure compliance with funded projects' Terms and Conditions and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting.
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in project management, financial management, and grants management.
Knowledge of financial and accounting practices, with experience in NetSuite required.
Certified Grants Management Specialist certification from the National Grants Management Association (NGMA) is highly desirable.
Federal grants management experience, knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs), and Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) preferred.
