Job Description: As a Life Insurance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for conducting sales presentations, recommending products, closing sales, and using our Customer Care Sales Model. You will also be responsible for continuously prospecting for sales opportunities, collecting premiums from policyholders, and responding promptly to policyholder service requests. Additionally, you will be required to appropriately keep records, account for money collected, and process paperwork.
Responsibilities: Agents are set up for success by being assigned a territory (called an agency) with an established book of in-force business. Your day-to-day activities will include:
- Conducting sales presentations, recommending products, closing sales, and using our Customer Care Sales Model
- Continuously prospecting for sales opportunities
- Collecting premiums from policyholders, based on a pre-arranged schedule
- Responding promptly to policyholder service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, loans, etc.
- Appropriately keeping records, accounting for money collected, and processing paperwork
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have customer service experience, the ability to visit customers and prospects door-to-door, be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license with 100k/300k auto insurance coverage, and a dependable vehicle. You will also need to be able to pass a background check, motor vehicle report check, and drug screening, and be authorized to work in the United States.
Training and Development: We provide assistance and guidance to those who are preparing to sit for licensing exams. New agents complete a basic development program that includes self-study, classroom time, role-play, and extensive fieldwork. On-the-job training allows new agents to earn a paycheck while learning their profession.
