Veterinary Sales Representative

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Veterinary Sales Associate to join our team in Northern Virginia and DC. As a Territory Partner Associate, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with veterinary practices in the region, educating hospital staff on the importance of medical insurance for pets, and promoting Trupanion as the market leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with veterinary practices in the region
- Provide education and training to hospital staff on the benefits of pet insurance
- Promote Trupanion as the market leader in pet insurance
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales goals
- Travel to veterinary practices to build relationships and provide education
- Utilize practice management software systems to manage client relationships and sales activities
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in the veterinary industry, preferably in a sales or business development role
- Strong understanding of the veterinary industry and pet insurance market
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
