Senior Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Staff Accountant:

  • Conducts comprehensive accounting functions for the division, encompassing general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and oversight of financial records.
  • Develops and tracks the annual budget and proforma forecasts in collaboration with divisional leadership and corporate management.
  • Leads and organizes annual physical inventory and cycle counts across all division locations.
  • Ensures compliance with corporate financial policies and effectively collaborates with credit and finance teams.
  • Continuously evaluates monthly and quarterly financial performance, providing strategic recommendations to meet profit goals and return on investment.
  • Prepares detailed reports and analyses for management review, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Staff Accountant:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or public accounting.
  • Proficient in Excel, with intermediate to advanced skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience.
