Key Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Accountant:

  • Conducts comprehensive accounting functions for the division, including general ledger management, preparation of financial statements, and oversight of financial audits.
  • Develops and tracks the annual budget and proforma forecasts in collaboration with the Divisional VP and corporate management's financial objectives.
  • Oversees and coordinates the annual physical inventory and cycle counts across all division locations.
  • Ensures compliance with company financial policies and procedures while effectively liaising with corporate financial and credit teams.
  • Regularly evaluates monthly and quarterly financial performance, providing actionable recommendations to meet profit targets and return on investment.
  • Generates detailed reports and analyses for presentation to management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Financial Accountant:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or public accounting
  • Proficient in Excel, with intermediate to advanced skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities

This position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience.
