Job Overview

The Catering Services Worker plays a vital role in supporting the event operations team in delivering exceptional catering services and events within the location. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and coordinate catering services according to client requests and banquet event orders.
  • Transport and deliver catering food and beverages, as well as vital supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure the setup and maintenance of event equipment, including chairs, tables, and buffet lines.
  • Replenish food and beverage products during events to ensure seamless service.
  • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of food service areas during events.
  • Pick up and clean up food and beverage deliveries after service.
  • Break down and clean the area after the conclusion of events and return equipment to its designated storage.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Previous catering experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must follow the required dress code as assigned.
  • Must be available to work event-based hours.
  • Must be able to complete Food Handling and Alcohol Service training as required.
Physical Demands

This role may require physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. Additionally, uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
