Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Replacement Sales Representative to join our team at NRG Energy in Houston, TX.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales success, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess homeowner needs and develop personalized HVAC comfort solutions
  • Present solutions to new and existing residential customers, highlighting the benefits of our premium products and comprehensive service plans
  • Build sustainable relationships with customers to cultivate future business and drive sales growth
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, ensuring that every interaction is positive and professional
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, including closing ratios on technician-generated leads and marketed leads
Requirements
  • 1+ years' experience in outside sales, preferably in the HVAC industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a proven track record of sales success
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Strong relationship-building skills, customer focus, and discipline
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years' experience in outside sales, with a focus on in-home service agreement sales and estimating
  • Knowledge of HVAC equipment and systems
  • Bilingual English/Spanish language skills
Working Conditions
  • Partial time spent in an office environment, with frequent travel to customer homes and locations
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Valid driver's license required, with a clean driving record
