Position Summary

As a Front-End Developer, your primary responsibility will be to construct the 'client-side' of our web applications. You will be expected to transform our organizational and client requirements into functional and engaging interactive applications. We are looking for a tech-savvy individual who is eager to explore new digital technologies and aims to merge usability with aesthetic design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement new user-facing features while developing reusable code and libraries for future projects.
  • Evaluate the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Enhance application performance for optimal speed and scalability.
  • Ensure all user inputs are validated prior to submission to back-end services.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders, including back-end developers and web designers.
  • Maintain and enhance existing websites.
  • Conduct cross-browser, operating system, and device testing for websites.
  • Monitor website performance, addressing usability issues that may affect traffic.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends.
  • Advocate for best practices in usability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Front-End Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Solid understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, ReactJS, or VueJS.
  • Proficient in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
  • Experience with asynchronous request handling and AJAX.
  • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
  • Familiarity with design tools like Gimp or Photoshop is advantageous.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and adherence to them in application development.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
