Position Overview

As a Web Application Engineer at ENGIE, you will play a pivotal role in our Global Energy Management & Supply (GEMS) division. You will report directly to the Director of Solution Delivery, contributing to our strategic objectives through the adoption of cutting-edge digital technologies.

Key Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in C# and .NET frameworks, or Oracle PL/SQL. Alternatively, a total of at least seven (7) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a four-year degree.
  • Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server with a focus on enhancing database performance.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools and methodologies.
  • Understanding of Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure SQL, and Azure Storage.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Ability to produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Experience conducting code reviews in accordance with established coding standards and contributing to the improvement of these standards.
  • Proficiency in developing complex PL/SQL scripts for data management and validation.
  • A proven background in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with product owners, architects, and system stakeholders in the testing of new features.

  • This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.
  • A valid U.S. driver's license is required.

Compensation Package

Salary Range: $96,100 - $147,660 USD annually. This range reflects the average expected compensation for a qualified candidate, with actual offers varying based on factors such as location, experience, and education.

In addition to the base salary, this role includes eligibility for a competitive bonus or incentive plan.
