About the Role

Jabil is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Integration Engineer to lead mechanical design functions for data center liquid cooling systems. This is a customer-facing role that requires collaboration with client engineering teams, conceptual design assistance, and implementation of product manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop specifications, select key components, and oversee the mechanical systems essential for Data Center Infrastructure, Energy Storage Systems, and HVAC functionalities.
  • Lead test process implementation and equipment selection to maintain the highest standards of operational excellence and reliability.
  • Collaborate with project managers on design quotations and provide technical input to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Conduct component selection for pipes, fittings, and valves based on factors like fluid type, temperature, pressure, and corrosion resistance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and ensure system compatibility and integration for liquid cooling systems at the rack, site, equipment, and system levels.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree in engineering or higher is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical system integration.
  • Proven track record of successful system designs and implementations in a relevant industry.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, integration strategy, and system coordination.
