Job Summary

This Registered Nurse role involves assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing medical and nursing regimens in accordance with hospital policies and standards. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a commitment to professional growth and accountability.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and reassessments as clinically indicated.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans that meet individual patient needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Document patient information accurately and timely, including medications, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Maintain a safe and respectful environment for patients and colleagues alike.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in New York or Connecticut, or eligibility for licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
