Job Summary
Nuvance Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. This role will provide direct patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to the development of nursing practices.
About the Role
- Provide high-quality patient care that meets the highest standards of practice
- Collaborate with patients, families, healthcare teams, and other stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing practices, policies, and procedures
- Mentor and educate nursing staff on best practices, research, and evidence-based care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, data analysis, and peer review
- Stay current with regulatory requirements, industry developments, and emerging trends
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and external partners
Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Nurse (NY Hospitals) or Connecticut Registered Nurse License (CT Hospitals)
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, ENPC, TCAR, CPI, S.T.A.B.L.E
- Strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and effective communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities
Salary and Benefits
