Position Overview:

In this role, you will assess operational processes, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and lead projects that foster collaboration across various functions to achieve successful results. You will create and implement reports and analytics that inform supply chain planning and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with production teams to source materials and uphold the production timeline through the late part list and late order notice system.
  • Monitor overdue supplier purchase orders to ensure the accuracy of ERP system data.
  • Address discrepancies in purchase order confirmations (e.g., pricing, delivery).
  • Generate Purchase Orders (including planning materials/run workbench) for designated facilities.
  • Oversee inventory levels, schedules (including pull-in/push-out), and material availability.
  • Assist in maintaining databases (vendor records, item attributes, pricing models, ERP reporting, etc.).
  • Support change orders and manage project requests to ensure timely shipment performance.
  • Help resolve invoice discrepancies and address issues with non-conforming materials.
  • Conduct material transfers as necessary.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Occasional travel to suppliers and/or company facilities may be required.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using problem-solving skills and methodologies.
Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Capacity for independent judgment and demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Prior experience in supply chain functions (purchasing, planning, materials) is preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems is essential.
Work Environment:

ADA Physical/Mental/Workplace Requirements

  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a desk or personal computer.
  • The primary work environment is a professional corporate office.
