About the Role

This Oncology Business Development Manager position is a key opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead a team of sales specialists in the Great Lakes region.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or marketing, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing business strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 5-8 Senior Oncology Account Specialists to achieve sales targets and expand business opportunities in the region.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer service, to ensure effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers, including KOLs and hospital administrators, to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or marketing, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business growth.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and platforms, including CRM systems and social media.
