About the Position

We are seeking a Cancer Treatment Therapist to join our team at Rush University Medical Center. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatment to patients with cancer.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care and Education: You will work closely with patients and their families to provide education and support throughout the treatment process.
  • Radiation Therapy Treatment Delivery: You will administer radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely, monitoring patient responses and reactions to treatment.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: You will participate in quality assurance and control processes to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
  • Valid Illinois State License in Radiation Therapy: You must hold a valid license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in the state of Illinois.
  • ARRT Certification: You must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
  • BLS Certification: You must hold a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $97,000 per year, plus benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
