The specialist will manage all project phases from initial planning through to implementation and final completion, focusing on industrial applications. Responsibilities include setting project deadlines, delegating tasks, and monitoring progress to ensure successful outcomes. Additionally, the role involves cultivating business relationships with our client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehend the project scope related to industrial trades (including electrical, construction, mechanical, etc.)
- Ensure timely resource allocation and scheduling for efficient project execution
- Communicate proposals effectively based on client requirements, safety protocols, timelines, and quality standards to field operations
- Develop and present proposals tailored to client specifications
- Generate accurate estimates to support proposal development based on client needs
- Engage with clients to offer solutions, address their needs, and provide assistance in our areas of expertise
- Relay information on leads, potential change orders, and opportunities for additional work
- Provide guidance and technical support to project managers, superintendents, and crew leaders as needed
- Prepare and submit reports related to project costs and tracking
- Conduct site visits during the quoting phase
- Facilitate on-site kick-off meetings as appropriate for the project
- Update project status to reflect progress on extended assignments
- Track and invoice for project work
- Willingness to travel occasionally, including out-of-state assignments
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical work
- A minimum of 10 years managing multiple trade teams in an industrial or commercial setting
- At least 7 years of experience in business development and sales
- Prior experience overseeing subcontractor work from estimation to completion
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Gmail, and Google Docs
- Ability to provide clients with necessary documentation regarding timelines, materials, and safety
- Capability to schedule project kick-off meetings to create an effective work plan
- Follow up with clients post-project to ensure satisfaction
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel occasionally, including out-of-state travel
