Job Description:

The Sales and Business Development Specialist is a critical role within our team, responsible for driving product sales growth within assigned territories. This position requires a strong performer who can develop new business opportunities, work closely with national and regional home offices of builders, design centers, and internal teams to enhance and drive residential sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing large builders, design centers, and interior designers through regular sales calls, business meetings, and effective communication.
  • Identify, secure, and register new builder customers, as well as establish business relationships with new design center managers and interior designers.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to communicate trends and competitive products to customers through product reviews and merchandising programs.
  • Ensure internal teams are informed about registered builder products, merchandising programs, and agreement parameters.
  • Lead regular tracking meetings, participate in regional or national trade shows, and conduct product knowledge seminars for builders and designers.
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH BUILDER CUSTOMERS AND PURCHASING AGENTS TO UNDERSTAND THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES AND PROTOCOL.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments, including single and multi-family construction trends in the region.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of technical, process, and business principles, as well as industry practices and standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
Estimated Salary:

$65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
