Tesla is seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to operate internal box trucks and transport vehicle parts between distribution centers, service centers, and body shops.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a valid driver's license, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate internal box trucks to transport vehicle parts
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products while providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and delivery paperwork
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness
  • Ensure efficient loading and unloading of vehicle parts and safe securement of freights
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate customer needs and varying delivery volumes
  • Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with DOT Non CDL Certification and Medical Card
  • Great work ethic & team player - levelheaded, detail oriented, safety contentious, courteous, flexible, punctual, and professional and customer focused
  • Previous DOT Commercial Vehicle experience preferred
  • Current DOT Physical Examination (medical card)
  • Ability to maintain a clean driving record with a high level of safety awareness on the roadways
  • Knowledge and adherence to federal motor carrier safety regulations / DOT guidelines
