Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at SMS. As an Outside Sales Professional, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with small to medium-sized business owners in the Madison area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing for daily sales appointments and traveling within a 20-mile radius of your home
  • Directing sales appointments with business owners to market and secure Business Analysts Survey Agreements
  • Providing feedback to Business Coordinators and sharing new business lead opportunities
  • Reviewing daily successes and challenges with your Sales Manager and receiving sales support as needed

Requirements:

  • At least three years of business ownership experience or three years of face-to-face direct sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but we will consider the right experience over a degree
  • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work effectively with little or no supervision
  • Outgoing personality with expertise in developing relationships, particularly with business owners, presidents, and CEOs
  • Good communicator with excellent listening skills and the ability to uncover a client's real pain points
  • Ability to begin work immediately

  • This is a commission-only position with residual income and daily cash bonuses, offering realistic first-year earnings of $100K-$110K
  • Potential to earn high six-figure commissions
