Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure day-to-day business operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to hourly and management teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Customer Service: Respond promptly and effectively to guest needs and feedback, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
  • Financial Management: Assist the General Manager in managing costs, driving sales, and growing the business in support of financial goals.
  • Inventory Management: Perform regular and ad-hoc inventories of food, beverage, and restaurant supplies, track high-cost items, and place orders as needed.
  • Staff Development: Partner with the General Manager and management team to interview, hire, onboard, train, supervise, and develop all back-of-house employees and teams.
  • Communication: Model and promote effective communication across all teams, using tact and good judgment when dealing with challenges.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of restaurant management experience
  • 2+ years of Assistant General Manager experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Experience with inventory and back-of-house systems
