Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Measurement Analyst to join our team at Energy Transfer. As a key member of our measurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of measurement data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze measurement data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Work closely with SCADA support team, communications technicians, measurement technicians, and external customers to resolve missing data issues.
  • Estimate and edit missing custody transfer data using customer data, historical data, and measurement experience.
  • Review and correct erroneous, invalid, and questionable data to ensure accuracy.
  • Set up new meters in the measurement system based on contractual terms, SCADA configuration reports, and guidance from senior analysts.
  • Evaluate incoming gas chromatograph and sample analysis data to ensure reasonableness and representativeness.
  • Coordinate with the field to resolve sample issues.
  • Maintain, generate, and distribute reports to evaluate measurement data accuracy.
  • Compile and evaluate incoming third-party measurement data and ensure agreement with check measurement data.
  • Evaluate incoming meter test data to determine if a current or prior period adjustment is required by the contract.
  • Perform prior period adjustments and create required documentation for SOX controls and accounting settlements.
  • Maintain detailed records of all work performed to ensure compliance with company SOX controls.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or preferred.
  • 2-5 years of gas or liquid measurement experience, as applicable.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of FLOWCAL or PGAS a plus.
  • Office-level proficiency with MS Outlook.
Working Conditions

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

Usually, normal office working conditions.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
