Senior Financial Analyst

Clarion Partners is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the asset management of hotel investments, analyzing performance metrics, and communicating information to hotel managers and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support asset management of hotel investments, including analysis of performance metrics and communication of information to hotel managers and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of property strategies and measurement of property and organizational performance issues.
  • Prepare property and local market aspects of quarterly and annual property reports, as well as assigned elements of the annual property business plan.
  • Support reviews of operations and capital expenditures as compared to budgets, forecasts, and/or prior year.
  • Support hotel team in evaluating relevant operations and capital program strategies during the acquisition due diligence process or annual business planning cycle.
  • Support Portfolio Management and Asset Management in providing analyses and data related to financings and refinancings.
  • Assist in the approval process for capital expenditures within property business plan parameters.
  • Ensure hotel managers deliver accurate and timely monthly reports.
  • Evaluate the performance of hotel management companies and specific hotel managers.
  • Conduct quarterly internal valuations and support third-party appraisal process, including review of such appraisals.
  • Prepare hold/sell analyses.
  • Support client, Investment Committee, and portfolio management presentations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business.
  • 2+ years' experience in real estate or business-related activities with hotel experience preferred.
  • Strong Excel software proficiency and knowledge required; ability to complete detailed analyses and make well-reasoned and decisive recommendations required.
