Job Title: Business Analyst

HCLTech is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with expertise in the Payments domain to join its team in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity.

Job Summary:

The Business Analyst will be responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical, and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals through partnership with decision makers, systems owners, and end users.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of working on industry standards like ISO20022, SWIFT, etc.
  • Proficient in gathering business requirements and converting those into technical and functional solutions.
  • Deep understanding of multiple payment ecosystems (UPI, US RTP, FedNow, SEPA Interac, etc.), regional payment practices, and emerging solutions.
  • Solid understanding of trends in the payment industry such as Mobile Banking, Digital Wallets, Tokenization.
  • Successfully completed projects involving digital transformation and migration of legacy payment systems.
  • Capable of documentation, creating slides for business requirements/meetings.
  • Work with Scrum Masters & RTEs for day-to-day execution of initiatives via a scrum team.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Proven interpersonal, diplomatic, and influencing skills.
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
