About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Utility Worker to join our team at Holiday by Atria - Cedar Woods. As a key member of our Food Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing exceptional service to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, including clearing and washing dishes from residents' tables.
  • Prepare, wash, and store dishes, as well as clean the dishwashing area, food-serving areas, and equipment.
  • Set up serving carts for each meal, including preparing water carafes and distributing to each table.
  • Assist with food preparation as assigned and work collaboratively with the Food Services team to ensure efficient and safe kitchen operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including putting away deliveries and setting dining tables for the next meal.
Requirements
  • High School education or equivalent.
  • General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures.
  • General knowledge of safe food-handling practices.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Ability to follow standards and procedures, accept direction and training, and work as part of a team.
