Clinical Allergy Specialist Floater

Job Summary:
A Clinical Allergy Specialist Floater is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the United Allergy Services allergy center. This role involves administering allergy tests, educating patients on allergen immunotherapy, and providing patient-centered care to those suffering from allergies.
This position requires a strong understanding of allergens, the allergic response, and UAS clinical protocols. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an understanding of allergens and UAS clinical protocols.
- Administer allergy tests and formulate and prepare allergy immunotherapy.
- Educate patients on administering injections with immunotherapy.
- Ensure patient progress by following up with patients and ensuring timely pickup of immunotherapy.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and verify insurance eligibility for each patient.
- Administer patient scheduling and handle billing documentation.
- Maintain clinic inventory levels and ensure timely ordering and receipt of supplies.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with providers and medical office staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in health sciences or business preferred.
- Minimum of two years of full-time equivalent work experience in a healthcare or related field.
- Ability to travel extensively for multiple days and nights within the local or surrounding area.
- Nursing or medical technician certification(s) as required by state or local regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure suitable results.
