Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Support Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing administrative support to our medical staff, as well as assisting with various clinical tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting Patients and Visitors

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner. They will answer inquiries, either in person or over the phone, and refer them to the appropriate personnel when necessary.

Scheduling Appointments

The successful candidate will schedule appointments for patients, either in person or over the phone. They will also ensure that all necessary information is recorded and updated in our system.

Answering Patient Questions

Our Clinical Support Specialist will be responsible for answering patient questions and maintaining the reception area in a clean and organized manner.

Filing and Retrieving Patient Records

The ideal candidate will file and retrieve patient records as needed, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate.

Maintaining Patient Accounts

Our Clinical Support Specialist will be responsible for maintaining patient accounts by obtaining and recording personal and financial information, as well as verifying insurance details.

Collecting Patient Charges

The successful candidate will collect patient charges and control credit extended to patients. They will also file, collect, and expedite third-party claims.

Protecting Patient Confidentiality

Our Clinical Support Specialist will protect patient confidentiality by maintaining the security and integrity of personal and financial information.

Maintaining Operations

The ideal candidate will maintain operations by following policies and procedures, and reporting any necessary changes to the management team.
