About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Audit Associate to join our team at Forvis Mazars. As an Audit Associate, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve their financial goals by providing high-quality audit services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform audit testing on financial statement accounts, including cash, accounts payable, and fixed assets
  • Work closely with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
  • Assist in drafting management letter comments and the audit report
  • Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
  • Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the state where your office will be located
  • Solid technical accounting knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior internships in a public accounting firm performing audit work
