Little Rock, Arkansas, United States Montrose Environmental Full time

We are Montrose, a global environmental services provider offering a range of solutions to support our clients in achieving their environmental goals.

Our team of experts, including engineers, scientists, and technicians, work together to deliver high-quality services that meet the unique needs of our clients.

We strive to provide innovative and effective solutions that optimize environmental resiliency and sustainability.

Our Advisory and Specialty Services Division supports clients across various sectors to meet their complex environmental demands.

Our experts take a strategic approach to address broader environmental goals, including sustainability program development, data-driven decision-making, and software strategy and implementation support.

We work through our highly-specialized practice areas to deliver excellent quality, impactful solutions based on data integrity.

Our Senior Consultant - EHSS IT Data/Systems Management position is a fully-remote opportunity within our EHS&S Management Information Solutions team.

This team focuses on providing quality work, responding quickly, and working effectively with supportive teams.

The job involves applying strong project delivery skills with experience in implementing commercial off-the-shelf systems and subject matter expertise in EHS & Sustainability.

This includes a focus on air emissions, greenhouse gas, and sustainability (ESG), as well as permit tracking, incident management, inspections, audits, observations, occupational health, and control of work.

You will be responsible for technical leadership, development, and application of data management processes and best practices, system architecture/design, and hands-on execution of EHSS IT projects.

In particular, we are seeking candidates with deep experience with emissions inventory management, ideally using commercial off-the-shelf systems.

This key role will be responsible for performing a full range of activities throughout a project cycle, including:

  1. Working directly with clients to evaluate AS-IS processes, identify areas for improvement, develop TO-BE requirements, and document gaps.
  2. Thinking critically about data management processes (collection, validation, disclosure, etc.) and facilitating the gathering of business requirements and translating them into easy-to-understand specifications used to set up COTS (commercial off-the-shelf software).
  3. Helping clients build an Inventory Management Plan (air emissions and more) after helping define a vision, boundaries, materiality, and data availability.
  4. Architecting and leading systems/reports that require reliable math and logic skills that will be applied to emissions calculations, validation, and analysis.
  5. Creating and/or reviewing design specifications, test scripts, and training guides.
  6. Creating project plans and defining action items.
  7. Managing various EHS&S information management software applications and associated content (compliance tasks, operating data, audit/inspection checklists, ESG frameworks, etc.).
  8. Recognizing and escalating conflicts between client, staff, and software vendors - and within scopes of work.
  9. Streamlining technical delivery of routine Management of Change and QA/QC activities.
  10. Developing staff's mastery of processes and technical knowledge (EHS and other applications).
  11. For the right candidate, supporting business development and sales activities.
