Job Title: Automotive Sales Professional Long Island NY

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business and managing relationships with existing customers within an assigned territory. This role will focus on selling a wide range of products, including welders, frame racks, lifts, rivet guns, and ADAS systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive repair processes, hands-on experience, or sales experience in the industry, and a proven ability to manage customer relationships using CRM software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business and manage existing customer relationships within an assigned territory.
  • Sell a wide range of products, including welders, frame racks, lifts, rivet guns, and ADAS systems.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects.
  • Utilize CRM software to manage leads, sales activities, and customer relationships.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or hands-on experience in the automotive repair industry.
  • Knowledge of Products: Strong understanding of automotive repair equipment, particularly welders, frame racks, lifts, rivet guns, and ADAS systems.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Technical Understanding: Ability to explain complex technical products and solutions to a non-technical audience.
  • CRM Experience: Proficiency in using CRM software to manage leads, sales activities, and customer relationships.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently with a strong sense of initiative and time management.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory to meet with customers, as well as occasional travel for trade shows and industry events.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience selling automotive repair equipment is highly desirable.
  • Strong network and relationships within the automotive repair industry.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and trends related to ADAS calibration systems.
