About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at Nisum. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Development
    • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Jenkins.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and applications.
  • Automation and Orchestration
    • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and management.
    • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Docker.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting
    • Design and implement monitoring and logging systems to ensure real-time visibility into infrastructure performance and health.
    • Develop and maintain troubleshooting scripts and tools to quickly identify and resolve infrastructure issues.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with development teams to ensure infrastructure meets application requirements and is properly integrated.
    • Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and provide guidance on infrastructure best practices.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure, and automation.
    • Proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration.
  • Skills
    • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, and orchestration.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and Groovy.
    • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
    • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Docker.
