A prominent distributor in the automotive components sector is looking for a qualified Accountant.
The successful candidate will possess over 5 years of comprehensive accounting experience, which includes responsibilities such as monthly and quarterly closings, accounts payable and receivable, as well as the preparation of financial reports.
This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity that comes with a robust benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly closing processes, annual reporting, billing, collections, and budget preparation.
- Handle accounts receivable and payable functions, along with detailed financial analysis.
- Receive cash and checks, ensuring accurate deposits.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and annual budgets.
- Monitor financial activities, including cash flow and reserve levels.
- Review expenses and payroll records as assigned.
- Perform accurate data entry using ERP systems.
- Execute other related duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills in a diverse workplace.
- Strong data management and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
This position is based in an office environment, where you may be required to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds. Additional physical activities may include climbing stairs and using hands for handling equipment.
