Job Summary

As a key member of our culinary team, the Executive Steward will be responsible for managing the daily kitchen utility operations and staff. This includes overseeing dish room operations, night cleaning, back dock cleaning and maintenance, banquet plating and food running. The successful candidate will supervise kitchen employees not actively engaged in cooking and strive to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dish room areas.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff on proper cleaning and sanitation procedures.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils are in good working order and properly maintained.
  • Coordinate and manage the ordering and inventory of kitchen supplies and equipment.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and control kitchen expenses to ensure budget compliance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
What We Offer
