Our Transportation Team

Our Oregon Transportation team is seeking a talented Transportation Engineer to join our growing practice and contribute to our award-winning integrated transportation planning and design solutions. With over 100 years of experience, we've delivered top-notch projects that improve safety, mobility, reliability, and sustainability for communities worldwide.

Job Summary

We're looking for a skilled Transportation Engineer to work as a key member of our highway/roadway design team. As a Transportation Engineer, you'll prepare and oversee roadway/highway design work using local or AASHTO standards, including horizontal and vertical alignment, roadway sections, intersection layout, and sight distance determination. You'll also prepare contract plans, specifications, and estimates for various projects.

Responsibilities
  • Work as a key member of a highway/roadway design team for moderate to large projects.
  • Prepare or oversee roadway/highway design work using local or AASHTO standards.
  • Prepare contract plans, specifications, and estimates for various projects.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Previous experience in all aspects of roadway engineering design.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Hands-on experience with Highways and Roads CAD engineering software.
  • MS Office knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
