Position Overview

Summit Health Inc is actively seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to become part of our collaborative primary care teams.

We are looking for healthcare professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and are eager to drive positive changes within our community.

We provide:
  • A comprehensive clinical and operational framework that empowers providers to focus on patient care.
  • Access to clinical leadership, including APP Directors, to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing among peers who are transforming primary care.
  • Integrated care management and population health teams, including pharmacists and social workers, available both in-clinic and virtually to support our primary care providers in delivering holistic patient care.
  • An intuitive, optimized Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system with full telehealth capabilities, including access to a virtual scribe, reducing administrative burdens.
  • Flexible scheduling options that prioritize work/life balance for our Advanced Practice Providers.
  • Robust clinical leadership support to enhance provider success, including dedicated one-on-one time with leadership during quarterly meetings, practice meetings, and town halls to foster open communication and strong relationships.
Qualifications for Success
  • Graduation and certification from an accredited advanced practice program.
  • Preferred: Two or more years of outpatient clinical experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
  • Ability to treat both pediatric and adult patients, conducting thorough health assessments for individuals and families with various health concerns.
  • Current, unrestricted license in the practicing state or eligibility for licensure.
  • Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or eligibility for registration.
  • Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or eligibility to enroll.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems; Athena is preferred.
