Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring, while maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
- Prioritize independence and provide emotional support to residents by offering compassionate care, engagement, and companionship.
- Encourage and assist residents in participating in life enrichment activity programs, promoting socialization and mental stimulation.
- Promote open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff, ensuring a collaborative approach to care.
Requirements:
- Positive team player attitude and a genuine passion for working with people.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff.
- Certified Caregiver or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Arizona.
- A minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience, with a preference for those with experience in Memory Care.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain.
- A fingerprint clearance card or willingness to obtain.
- Previous experience working in Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care (MC), or Senior Living is a plus.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
