Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with essential daily living tasks.
- Provide attentive care and supervision, ensuring regular updates to the supervisor.
- Collaborate effectively with clients and their families to optimize care strategies.
- Maintain a safe and pleasant living environment.
- Support clients with personal hygiene activities, including dressing, grooming, and bathing.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
- Offer medication reminders and respite care as needed.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Previous experience in personal care or related fields.
- A compassionate and caring demeanor.
- The ability to establish rapport with clients.
- First Aid/CPR training (preferred).
- For those working with young clients with autism, CPI/DSP 1,2 certification is required.
- Good physical health and stamina.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- HCA registration with the DSS and a past CNA license.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a skilled nursing, assisted living, or rehabilitation facility.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Legal authorization to work in the US.
- Completion of a criminal background check.
- Home Care Aide Registration.
- TB clearance and health screening.
- Full vaccination against Covid-19.
- Availability to work weekends.
