Position Overview
As a Caregiver at Glen Park Senior Living, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to deliver exceptional care and assistance to those facing challenges with daily living activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living tasks to promote independence.
- Provide attentive care and supervision, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families to tailor care plans.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming living environment.
- Support personal hygiene routines, including dressing, grooming, and bathing.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
- Offer medication reminders and respite care as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in personal care or related fields is preferred.
- A compassionate and nurturing attitude towards clients.
- Ability to establish rapport and trust with residents.
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
- For working with clients with specific needs, CPI/DSP training is required.
- Must be in good physical health.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are necessary.
Requirements:
- Must hold HCA registration and have a minimum of three years of experience in a relevant care setting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
- Completion of a Criminal Background Check is mandatory.
- TB clearance and health screening must be provided.
- Covid-19 vaccination is required.
- Availability to work weekends is essential.
