Glen Park Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to enhance the quality of life for our residents. Our mission is to provide exceptional care while cultivating a warm and engaging community atmosphere.
As a caregiver, it is essential to approach residents and their possessions with respect, kindness, and understanding. The ideal candidate will consistently demonstrate compassion and positivity towards the residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and restroom use.
- Facilitate meal and snack services at designated times.
- Participate in and promote the Activities Program.
- Attend regular training sessions provided by the facility on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- For residents with unique needs: Align actions with the Program Design and complete specialized training.
- Work towards fulfilling the goals outlined in each resident's Individual Program Plan (IPP).
- Document detailed progress notes to monitor IPP goal achievements.
Qualifications:
- Must possess Live-Scan Clearance and a TB test.
- CPR/First Aid certification is required upon acceptance of the position.
Work Schedule:
Shifts include weekends and early mornings.
